A live edge bench is a piece of furniture where the natural, irregular edge of the wood is preserved and prominently featured. We highlight the unique and natural features of the wood, such as knots, grain patterns, and the contours of the live edge. Each piece is unique and one of the kind. We work on trying to keep the natural edge profile, shape and contour of the live edge. Many of the live Edge pieces we select have irregularities that give a rustic or organic feel.
Place Custom Order
We source a number of different species of wood used in the piece. Different wood species have distinct colors, grain patterns, and characteristics that can influence the overall appearance of the live edge furniture. We apply durable finishes that are environmentally safe and have no VOC’s. In many cases we use a natural clear finish to enhances the wood's natural beauty, while others may have a stain or protective coating.
We can work with a variety of dimensions, including the length, width, and thickness of the tabletop, bench, or bar top. Live edge pieces can have various types of bases or legs, ranging from metal frames to more traditional wooden supports that can be custom made.
Live edge furniture is suitable for a dining room, kitchen, living room, outdoor space, or commercial setting, such as conference tables and end tables. We provide a lot of attention to detail to preserve and showcase the natural edge of the wood.
